Tine’s seafood snack

Denne her er lidt uden for kategori, men Tines kok’s fabelagtige “snack” er  blevet efterspurgt så mange gange, så jeg er nød til at dele den her. Håber det er i orden med Tine …

tine's seafood dip

Tines skaldyrsdip til nachos el. lign.

Philadelfia eller anden friskost naturel
Hvidløg efter behag
Citronsaft/olie
Salt og peber

Krebsehaler og/eller rejer
Forårsløg
Rød peber
Koriander
Sorte oliven
Soltørrede tomater
Rødløg
Chili, frisk

Sprinkel evt. lidt citronsaft eller limesaft over

xmas, mindmap, jul, Hausfrau, green blackboard

Dear All

Though it’s hard to admit, unfortunately time hasn’t allowed a real physical card this year.
It’s been a couple of months with family and study priorities.
I know the latter will benefit present and future clients in ways of branding.
But much more about that later.

With this visual example of “what the heart is filled with …” I wish you and your family a Merry Christmas!

(My apologies for the lack of translation on the board ;o)

5 tips for working with me

graphic-designer-joke-posters-gary-nicholsonThe best results in graphic design are often the clear and simple ones, but that doesn’t mean that the road to the product is clear and simple. It can be very difficult to explain what’s going on behind the scenes, and that a simple revision might have a huge, time consuming effect.

I found this great post, that explains how things sometimes work in my world. My first assignment is to learn as much about your world as a client at the very beginning, to make the best result. It’s all about mutual understanding and respect for each others professional skills.

I hope you want to read the post – click here. I have to finish with a quote from one of the comments of the post – a quote, that goes for anyone’s work ;o)

Hanne Koch, Design konsortiet

Hanne Koch and I graduated in 1997 from the Graphic Arts Institute – now Danish School of Media and Journalism, so there is basis for laughs and good co-working ;o)

Serendipity is my favorite word

Hausfrau Halloween pumpkin with a bat projection
Wikipedia: Serendipity means a “happy accident” or “pleasant surprise”; specifically, the accident of finding something good or useful while not specifically searching for it. The word has been voted one of the ten English words hardest to translate in June 2004 by a British translation company. However, due to its sociological use, the word has been exported into many other languages.

Tilde and I had fun this weekend carving the pumpkins for Halloween. Tilde doing the sketch and mom handling the knife. The bat on the back got to be a little big to see clearly when looking directly at the pumpkin. At nightfall I got the idea of projecting it onto the wall instead – and it works perfectly!!! Love it when things like that happens without intention!

Since the blog is the more unofficial side of Hausfrau, most posts will probably be in danish
