In 2008 a new restaurant was established in a beautiful old building at the harbour front in Præstø. Through decades the house hosted restaurants by the name of “Skipperkroen”. The new restaurant had a crisp agenda but still wanted to keep the old name tradition. The ambition was still seafood, but now accompanied by ecological bread and the best quality raw materials along with micro brewery beer.
The logo is based on an old fashion fishing boat name tag, but the font and look of the identity is very clean and modern. The uncoated paper and colours associates with the sea and the nature. The identity also contains a “logo mark” without the actual name, that represents Skipperkroen.
